Making pendants and beads out of paper is a long process and takes about 6 hours from start to finish. This does not include the amount of time that it takes for the items to dry between processes.  There are 9 graduated patterns in each template. By placing 4 pieces of paper together you cut all 9 patterns. The pieces are then stacked and glued starting with the largest to smallest. Therefore, each pendant has at least 36 layers of paper. It takes about 4 hours or overnight for the pendant to dry before it is sanded with an emery board and Dremel. It’s very unlikely that any 2 pendants would turn out the same even when the same paper is used. Once the pendant is dry, it is dipped 3 times in a diamond clearcoat.

         By cutting different widths and tapering the cut, all different sizes of beads can be made by rolling the paper on a tool. I roll 1 to 3 cuts of paper to make one bead using glue to secure the end. Once the glue is dried I then put 2 coats of clearcoat on each one.

        Once the pendant & beads are finished, they are strung to make a beautiful accessory to your wardrobe.
